Camryn wins SURE award

Camryn was awarded 1st place at the Summer Undergraduate Research Experience (SURE) 3-Minutes presentation titled: “Measuring Stress in Non-human Primates with ELISA: Cortisol and Dehydroepiandrosterone-sulfate”. This is a collaborative project with the Memphis Zoo to validate enzyme immunoassays for measuring stress levels from different primate species using their feces. The project's ultimate goal is to apply those non-invasive methods to determine how changes in the environment can reduce stress and improve primate welfare.
First and Second places were awarded by research area. Camryn won 1st place for best presentation in the category Biological Sciences:
